What would a world without tools and products look like? Do we really need them? Well, the answer is yes. And no.
The fact that humans use tools is one of the most important success factors to the development of our species. But today many of us live a life with over consumption and materialism that has a huge impact on our environment. As product designers we need to make sure that we create quality products, but even more importantly: That we make the right products. Our responsibility is to choose wisely and to keep the environment as center in everything we do. So how do we do it?

MATERIAL-EFFICIANCY
AND DURABILITY

We are committed to creating enduring products with a keen awareness of their environmental footprint. A fundamental element to acheive this is our selection and utilization of materials, recognizing their inherent value. Therefore, we often employ generative design principles to achieve a harmonious balance between durability and lightweight attributes, thereby ensuring that the geometric structure remains as material-efficient as possible.

MINIMAZING COMPONENTS,
EASY REPAIR AND UPGRADE

We design for easy repair, prioritizing simplicity and minimizing the number of components. By doing so, we empower users to easily maintain or repair our products. This approach not only extends the lifespan of our creations but also diminishes the likelihood of breakage through the reduction of individual parts. Adapting products to the technological race can also create a lot of waste. We adjust and design small scale series to reduce production waste.

LOCAL SUPPLIERS AND
OPTIMAZING LOGISTICS

We actively engage with local suppliers and producers whenever feasible, as this enables us to exercise greater control over our supply chain and substantially reduce our environmental footprint. Additionally, we focus on optimizing stacking and logistics, maximizing the efficiency of product transportation and minimizing wasteful air space.

CHOOSING GREEN AND
SUSTAINABILITY DISCOUNT

Furthermore, we take a stand by encouraging all our clients to integrate sustainability into their product specifications. Projects that align with our values and demonstrate a clear commitment to sustainability receive a discounted hourly rate as an incentive. In essence, our mission is to create lasting, environmentally responsible products while challenging our clients to embrace sustainability as a core component of their initiatives. We also say "no" to designing weapons and equipments promoting fossil fuels.
