S3 Office chair with Johan Verde
The S3 chair has an articulated back that follows the spine and provides good support in the lower back. S3 has a floating tilt, which means that it follows the body's movements. It is the first office chair to be eco labeled according to the new rules for minimal environmental impact.
We worked closely with designer Johan Verde and Savo’s designer Ralph Christian Schmidt, on detail design, construction and production. Our focus was mainly on the seat, handles and the mechanical unit that controls the adjustments of the seat. We were active participants in the design process, did 3D printing and we delivered a CAD-assembly accompanied with visuals and drawings.
